Officially 35

Today at school, we counted the days until Spring Break. Only 35 more to go! I can't wait. Jamaica is already calling my name...well it has been for about two months now. We are expecting a ton of snow tonight and I'm hoping it doesn't come true. When I was in school we used to pray for snow days. Now, as a teacher it is a much different story. Our next day that we get off school is not until Feb 18th for President's Day. That is of course unless we miss school tomorrow. Then, we will have to make up President's Day. I would prefer to have that day off since it's closer to Spring Break. Two hour delay, okay. No school tomorrow, not okay.

Sunday Dinner

Since my aunt and uncle moved up from Florida, we've been having Sunday dinner....almost every Sunday. It's been really nice for Scott and I since we don't have a family of our own. Each Sunday we get to spend time with my mom, dad, Aunt Joy, Uncle Steve, and my cousin Cheyenne. We try to switch places each time so that we take turns cooking the home cooked meals. Tonight was my turn. So, I picked breakfast, of course! I love to cook (and eat) breakfast. It's my favorite meal of the day. We had ham, bacon, eggs, waffles, and potatoes. Nothing better than great food, family, and fun.

A little game of Clue

Last night we hung out with some of our very dear friends Carey and Dan. We were invited to game night and had a blast playing the game of Clue. Sitting around playing Clue is something most of us hadn't done since we were kids, but let me tell you, it takes on a whole new meaning when you play as an adult. There was a lot of competition and the stakes were much higher. In the end, it was Scott: 2 and Kristin: 1. I'm sure there will be a rematch in the future.

Action

Make every day count. Make every hour count. Make every minute count. And don't stop until you have exercised your full potential, realizing your impossible dream and fulfilling your total destiny to become the person that you, and only you, are capable of being.

And so the count down begins. 9 team members until my new car. 8 more parties booked between Feb 15- Mar 31. Already booked 8 Jan. 15-Feb. 15 (check). I'm on my way.........Let the games begin!
