School's Out FOREVA

Well, it's official. Today is my first day as the office manager of Schoettmer Transport. Friday was kind of bittersweet. I'm definately going to miss my new friends that I've made over the past two years at BRMS. However, boy am I glad to be out. I think I got out right at the right time. They are putting more work onto the teachers for next year and of course, without increasing pay. It's a never ending battle there. It's such a free feeling knowing that I don't have to get up each morning and fight with parents, fight administrators, and fight teenagers who could really care less. On a side note: Have I mentioned how happy and excited Scott is to have me around? He is so thrilled to be able to have me around to help him out and get things ready for him through the week so that we don't have to spend weekends pulling all nighters trying to get caught up. I miss weekends. I'm looking forward to being able to hang out and relax once again.

FOUR

Here we are. The last Monday complete. I can't believe it!! Four days to go and I'm loving it. I turned in my resignation to my principal on Friday and today to my superintendent. It's official...I'm no longer an employee of Rush Co. School Corp. If anyone knows of a Business teacher looking for a job, then I know the place for them. However, I wouldn't recommend it. :)

There are officially seven days of school remaining!! The countdown continues....

Happy 2nd Birthday AVA!!

Today is our dearest friends' baby Ava's birthday. We are heading to Indy to help celebrate! I guess she's not such a baby anymore. Happy Birthday sweetheart. Love, Auntie Kristin and Unca Scott. It's so much fun being TWO! (Thanks Marcia for the pic)

LAUNDRY?!?!?!

Do you ever feel like it's never ending?? There are only two of us!! Where does it all come from?? I feel like I'm never caught up and we're always running out.

MK Career Conference 2008

April 4-5 I attended our annual Mary Kay career conference in Cincinnatti. This year's theme was "Share the Dream." It was awesome, as usual. And, of course, so much fun. My new recruit Carey got to go with me this time, too. She had a really good time and made a new friend. Now I'm ready for seminar. It doesn't start until July.

Lindsay's having a baby!

Kyle and Lindsay are due to have a baby at anytime. She's due May 15th but have been put on watch. At Landon's birthday party I was sure to snap a pic of what Lindsay looks like in her last few weeks of pregnancy. Here's to hoping it's a girl!!
